A /p/ link can lead to one photo or to a carousel containing multiple images and videos. Laqta displays the available items separately, so choose the exact picture you need rather than assuming the first card is the only slide.
A video card can include Save cover, which downloads its preview image. A photo card uses Download photo. The cover is not the video itself; use Download video when you want the MP4.
The file type follows the supported image returned by Instagram, such as JPEG, PNG or WebP. Laqta does not recompress the media, but cannot guarantee the original upload or a specific resolution.
Your browser usually puts downloads in its Downloads list or folder. On a phone, check the Files app if it does not appear in your photo gallery. You can then move the image using your device’s usual controls.
Only supported public posts can be retrieved, and access can still be restricted by Instagram. A publicly viewable photo is not automatically licensed for reuse; ask permission when needed.
