Save thoughtfully.
A public link can be visible to everyone without granting everyone the same rights to download, reuse or redistribute it.
Check permission first
Only save media you own or have permission to keep. If you plan to repost a photo, video or music, check the creator's rights and any applicable licence separately; a public account is not automatically a reuse licence.
Instagram's terms and creators' settings may also limit how content can be accessed or downloaded. Check the current rules before using a third-party tool.
Use individual public post links
Laqta accepts supported public post, Reel and older video links, plus some Instagram share links that resolve to a supported post. Profile pages, private posts and Stories are not supported.
Do not enter passwords, access tokens or private information. The link you provide is sent to Laqta's server to retrieve the available public post.
Choose the intended file
On a video card, Download video saves an available MP4 and Save cover saves a still image. Audio · M4A is shown only when a separate compatible stream is available. For carousel posts, save each available item individually.
A file's format, dimensions, sound and availability depend on what Instagram returns. Laqta cannot guarantee the creator's original upload or recover a missing or restricted item.
When a request fails
Reopen the public post and copy its individual link again. If a media address has expired, request a fresh preview. Instagram may temporarily restrict access or stop providing a source, and a retry cannot bypass privacy or access controls.
