This preliminary notice describes the current Laqta website. Contact details and provider retention settings have not yet been confirmed, so it is not a complete privacy policy.
The link you submit
When you select Get media, your browser sends the Instagram link you entered to Laqta's server. The service requests the public post from Instagram and returns available media details. A preview may include the public username, caption and images or video.
When you preview or download an item, Laqta requests the file from the source through its server. Source addresses and other request details may be processed by infrastructure providers. Do not submit passwords, private links or other sensitive information.
Hosting and request data
Laqta uses Cloudflare to deliver and run the site. Cloudflare may process technical request information such as IP address, device or browser information, request URLs and security events in order to operate and protect the service.
The Laqta Worker does not itself write submitted post links or files to a separate application database as part of the download flow. This does not mean that hosting or security providers keep no logs. Actual provider retention settings have not yet been confirmed in this notice.
Google Analytics and cookies
Laqta loads Google Analytics when a page opens. Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers and collect information such as page visits, browser and device details, and approximate location. Google receives information from the browser when its services are used.
Laqta does not currently display a built-in choice before loading Analytics. You can manage cookies and site data in your browser, or use Google's Analytics opt-out tool; blocking cookies alone may not stop every network request to Google.
Instagram and external services
To retrieve a supported post, the service contacts Instagram and its media hosts. Those providers process requests according to their own terms and policies. External links on Laqta may take you to other websites with their own privacy practices.
Advertising and future changes
The current Laqta pages do not include the standard Google AdSense advertising code. If advertising is added, this notice and the consent arrangements will need to be reviewed and updated for the services used and the visitors' locations.
Contact and retention details are not yet published
A privacy contact for Laqta and the applicable retention settings have not yet been provided. This notice remains incomplete until the site operator supplies those details and reviews the data practices.
